"Dr. T" is an Ottawa (Canada) native who achieved a Bachelor of Science Honours in Neuroscience and Mental Health at Carleton University. She excelled at New York Chiropractic College and graduated with honours, following the completion of a competitive one-year clerkship within a Veterans Affairs Hospital in Florida. She pursued post-doctorate certifications in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, Advanced Functional Needling, and Graston Technique®.
Prior to relocating to Bermuda, Dr. T had a successful 3-year practice in the Ottawa region. She has refined a patient-centred and evidence-based approach in the diagnosis and management of neuro-musculoskeletal conditions that has yielded positive therapeutic outcomes. Dr. T has gained valuable experience in pain and injury management, as well as performance optimization. She combines treatment techniques such as myofascial (soft tissue) release, acupuncture, joint manipulation, and prescriptive exercise. Dr. T holds her patients accountable in their health and wellness journey and seeks to empower them through therapeutic support and education.
Dr. T understands the burden of pain and injury on one’s mental and physical health. She sustained many injuries through her years as a competitive gymnast and diver, which ultimately lead her to discover the world of manual therapy and physical rehabilitation. Dr. T is passionate about movement as medicine and maintains an active lifestyle through weightlifting, swimming, hiking, and yoga.
